The house is a full 4LDK with an exceptionally large living and dining area — ideal for remote workers, language learners, and anyone who wants to slow down without losing connection to the world.

Getting around
The nearest train stations are Akama Station (JR Kagoshima Line) and Fukuoka University of Education-mae Station. Both are a drive away.
A local bus route is available for basic errands, but a car or bicycle is strongly recommended for comfortable daily life. Fukuoka City is accessible in under an hour by car.
This is rural living — and that’s the whole point.
Who this is for
We’re looking for residents who prefer communicating in English and have a genuine interest in cross-cultural exchange. If you enjoy learning about different cultures, sharing your own background, and building real connections with people from Japan and beyond — this house is for you.
Living with us
Two of the four rooms are occupied by our own staff — Japanese locals who are happy to help you navigate daily life, language, and the neighborhood. Think of them as live-in hosts, not landlords. They’re here if you need them, and out of your way when you don’t.
This makes the house a natural place for cultural exchange and genuine connection — not just a roof over your head.
